Selectmen Meeting Minutes of
February 5th, 2008
Present: B. Pratt, M. Genest, S. Schacht, W. Prokop
1. The selectmen opened the Public Hearing on the proposed 2008 budget at 7:00 P.M. A presentation was made showing all proposed expenditures and revenue. The goals of the selectmen and the warrant articles were read and explained by the selectmen. Copies of the information covered are available at Town Hall. The Public Hearing ended at 9:45 P.M.
2. The selectmen approved the minutes of the meeting of January 28th, 2008.
2. The selectmen discussed the budget and warrant articles. The voted to support the warrant article for improvements to Memorial Park, but reduced the amount to $8,000.00. This was discussed with C. Lunetta, Recreation Director, and she was agreeable to this. They also voted to support the warrant article asking for $6200.00 for equipment for the skateboard park.
3. The selectmen approved all of the budget adjustments and finalized all warrant articles after listening to the input they received at the budget hearing.
4. The selectmen reviewed various correspondences that have been received and approved the A/P and Payroll for the week.
5. The meeting adjourned at 10:15 P.M.
The next meeting will be held on February 25, 2008 starting at 6:00 P.M.
