Selectmen Meeting Minutes
January 14th, 2008
Present: B. Pratt, M. Genest, S. Schacht, W. Prokop, S. Harding, C. Lunetta, R. Haggett, M. Allen, D. Kirkpatrick, P. Leonard
1. The selectmen approved the minutes of the meeting of January 7th, 2008
2. The selectmen approved all of the budget adjustments and finalized the warrant articles that the Recreation Commission is requesting for 2008.
3. The selectmen reviewed with M. Allen, one of our School Board representatives, the possible Conval agreement modifications that may be requested in the form of a warrant, for the tracking of student population by town. She also discussed the concerns of the school district regarding the budget and the declining enrollment figures.
4. The selectmen reviewed various correspondences that have been received and approved the A/P and Payroll for the week.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M the next meeting will be held on January 28th starting at 7:00 P.M. The selectmen will review the budget presentation planned for the budget hearing which has now been scheduled for Tuesday, February 5th, at 7:00 P.M. at Town Hall.
