In 1994, as part of Antrim's "100 Years on Main Street" Celebration, a bandstand was built in Memorial Park. The bandstand was a replica of the
original town bandstand that stood at the corner of Main and Concord Streets.
Since that first dedication concert, Antrim has held weekly concerts at the bandstand. Antrim in the Evening is the group responsible for recruiting performers, overseeing logistics, public relations and fundraising.
In 2004 the concert was enlivened with a variety of local musicians and performers: the Nelson Town Band, Wendy and Jim LaBelle, the Laura Pierce Quartet, Tom Foolery, the Bursitis Brothers, Otis and the Elevators, Kathy Lowe, Black Thorne Band, and Trixter Fox.
