The Antrim Board of Selectmen has voted to appoint Antrim resident Clark (Chip) A. Craig III to be the Road Agent replacing Robert Varnum who is retiring after 25 years with the Town. Craig was chosen out of a pool of 14 applicants.
Craig has been with the Antrim Highway Department since November and has worked for both the Greenfield and Hancock highway departments. He has achieved the level of Senior Road Scholar in the T2 UNH Road Scholar program. This program provides education in all areas of highway repair and maintenance. 75 contact hours are required to be a Senior Road Scholar. Craig holds a NH Solid Waste Class III license and has experience running all the equipment.
Craig, 43 who lives with his wife Samantha and expecting a child in November will begin his duties on September 15.
