The Antrim Volunteer Driver Network is happy to announce that the new phone line at Town Hall is ready to accept messages. Please call 588-6785 Ext. 333, if you need a ride to a Medical Appointment or to the Pharmacy. When you call, please leave
– Your Name
– One or two Phone Numbers where you can be reached
– The Date for which you need a Ride
You will be contacted by a Volunteer Ride Request Manager who will get the specifics of your Ride Request. As soon as a Volunteer Driver is found, you will be contacted by the Driver, and the two of you will make exact arrangements.
At this time, we ask that requests be made at least one week in advance of the appointment, that all Riders be over the age of 18 (unless accompanied by a parent/guardian) and that all Drivers be over 25 years old.
If you would like to share in this program where neighbor helps neighbor, please consider registering as an occasional Driver. Or, let us know if you are interested in helping with the phone work of the AVDN. It will be light work if shared by many volunteers.
